Everton star claims club’s fans ‘ATTACKED’ his friends in Arsenal away end: Shocking footage posted by Thierno Barry shows violent clashes between supporters as police launch investigation

Police are investigating an incident at the Emirates Stadium after Everton forward Thierno Barry claimed some of his friends were ‘assaulted’ during Arsenal’s clash with the Toffees.
Barry came on as a substitute for Beto in the second half of Everton’s match against the Premier League leaders.
Claiming that his friends were targeted on Instagram after the match, the player wrote: ‘This type of behavior is unacceptable in the stadium. I bring my friends to enjoy a game and it gets ruined by a few stupid people.
‘Football should be a place where everyone feels safe and respected. This type of behavior has no place in football and is not tolerated in football.
‘My friends and those who were attacked had to be escorted by Arsenal club security personnel and police due to fear of retaliation from our fans.’
The post was accompanied by a video of fans apparently fighting at the Emirates Stadium.
