Economist Arvind Subramanian calls on CM Revanth Reddy

Economist Arvind Subramanian paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in Parliament today.
At the meeting, the economist made valuable suggestions to the Prime Minister to strengthen the financial situation of the state. Mr. Subramanian emphasized that the state should proceed in a planned and strategic manner to strengthen the state’s finances.
CM and Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka briefed Mr. Subramanian about the reforms introduced in power sector, Stamps and Registrations and GST related matters. Expenditures in the Energy sector, revenues from the Registration department and tax estimates under GST were discussed in detail at the meeting.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao and other senior officials were also present.
