Data centre boom brightens engineering job prospects—100,000 new jobs likely

Sunil Gupta, managing director of Yotta Data Services, said the company plans to hire “around 1,000-1,200 engineers” in the next one year to increase its net operational capacity. “We already have around 2,500 engineers working on our cloud-based value-added service offerings. We’ll be hiring more over the next year or so and looking further ahead depending on how we expand,” he said.
