Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has acquired an ultra-luxury resort in Coorg. ₹560 crore to expand the wellness portfolio. In its January earnings call, the company’s top executive said it started FY25 with 3,500 rooms and added 250 rooms with its acquisition of Mumbai in the first quarter of FY26. Another 546 rooms were added in Dubai in the second quarter and 80 rooms in Jaisalmer in the third quarter.

The company, which has a pipeline of nine hotels, aims to expand to 24 hotels in markets such as Agra, Ayodhya, Bandhavgarh, Mumbai, Ranthambore, Sikkim, Srinagar and Jaisalmer in the next three years.
