5 New City Corporations Under GBA, Says Dy CM

Bengaluru: Bengaluru Incharge and Deputy Prime Minister DK Shivakumar said on Tuesday, 5 new city companies will be created and elected will be made soon.
Under Rizwan Arshad, a committee representing the Shivaji Nagar Assembly seat in Bengaluru, which is in the city of Bengaluru, said that “5 new city companies will exist at all costs” to create new city companies.
Speaking at a meeting of party workers in Bengaluru, Shivakumar said that some of them would be opposed with the decision to form a new 5 city company, but that the step is necessary to create 5 new city companies in administrative terms. However, “(Congress) party workers will be given appropriate positions in new city companies.” He said.
He called the party workers as “ strong columns’ and said, “We make decisions in Vidhana Soudha, but the party workers make these decisions to the public and the ambassadors of the government.” He said.
