Tiger Woods: Golfer to ‘step away and seek treatment’ after crash arrest

Tiger Woods said he was “stepping away for a while to get treatment and focus on my health” following his arrest following a car crash.

The 50-year-old was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after crashing into a truck and rolling his car in Florida on Friday.

He was also charged with property damage and refusal to submit to legal testing.

The 15-time champion submitted a written statement of innocence through his lawyers on Tuesday.
