The United States now wants to hold peace talks with Iran, but the country’s foreign minister is tired.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera news agency that his country has received messages from the United States and responded to these messages when necessary.

“No negotiations took place and reports about this are not true,” Mr. Araghchi said.

US President Donald Trump He claimed that negotiations between the countries were ongoing.

“The truth is that we have never had a good experience negotiating with the US… Now this year we negotiated with the US and the result was their attack,” Mr. Araghchi said.

“We have no faith that negotiations with the USA will yield results. The confidence level is zero.”
