Many of today’s newspapers lead with an article by former Prime Minister Sir Tony Blair criticizing the Labor government. The Telegraph summarizes his remarks as “Starmer has no plans for Britain” and describes Sir Tony’s comments as a “stinging attack”. Following up on news that former SNP chief Peter Murrell admitted embezzling £400,000 from the Scottish party, the Telegraph said a witness had “cast suspicion” on Murrell’s wife, former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, without knowing his guilt. Sturgeon reportedly said she was unaware of the caravan Murrell had purchased, but said a man saw her buying “frozen pizza and garlic bread” near where she parked.
