Brisbane, why don’t you cross the river?
The straw survey of his colleagues and friends revealed that some of them had not many, despite the happy river. Someone who lives on the new farm, rarely said he had gone south. Another – a Gaythorne resident – said he slowly tried to revive his southern friends. And another said it had been close to a year since the river has passed out of the Gateway highway outside the city.

Loser, clearly, but not really: these are the people I intend to invest in Brisbane as a multi -faceted, multicultural city. Not only does it tend to do this – perhaps a lack of time or other commitments such as children or family.
I remember an old girlfriend who needed a bored of Brisbane and needed an overseas vacation. But are you trying to get him out of the teeriffe? Not luck. Like I said, ex -girlfriend.
Even a restaurant with a regular resource in Morningside recently “What are you doing here?” He asked. My answer is, this is my job. It was and so, but it was a cover story.
My tendency to explore Brisbane started when I was young, I still worked in restaurants and invested to become a journalist. I didn’t have any money to travel to the world, so I was going to visit my own city.
For Banh or Pho, I would go to Inala, where almost a quarter of the population is of Vietnam or Vietnam origin. I would look at Moorooka and a tight set of African restaurants. Or I visit the Market Square in Sunnybank – you don’t need to get too much blur here to imagine you’re in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Hong Kong.

For those who do not pass the river for days or nights, I want you to do this.
Go to Sunnybank and dine at Kingsfood or Glamoor Wok, even to explore Ru Yi Dim Sum in the Sunnybank hills in the south. For the best Vietnam noodle soup in the city, call the Pho An or get a banh from the Scotts Road package and take it to the nearby Rocks Riverside Park. Or visit Brisbane’s Bayside address to break the restaurants such as Manly Boathouse, The Kundakçi and Chumley Warner’s British fish and chips.
If you come from the south, go to Milton to Milton for dinner in the Chinese Sea (good, cantona) or to the neighboring Paddington for small producer wines in the Element and Noir. In Pam’s Cafe 88, the Industrial Northgate is based on Ether and Fick before going to Nudgee for Sandgate for the Legal Italian in Pisces or Acciuga.

Look, I understand. There are foods to be purchased, family activities and sports, dance lessons and children to be delivered to swimming lessons. But maybe try to associate a part of the city where you don’t discover these commitments. Sit down and eat or if you have time, then walk around and take a coffee if people are watching.
Some of them can come to see how we see the city life. Apart from our local community, is it a place that naturally makes you feel dangerous or safe? I claim that this is the second in Brisbane.
On Sunday nights, when I am a little dusty, I will go to the story bridge and I will only continue to pass through the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Anneley. When the Beaudesert Road starts to correct it after landing from Moorooka, your only company is street lights, several cars and occasionally half -south or half -half starting in the west.
And then you hit the coal chicken shops in Acacia Ridge. This is the otherwise in the industrial part of the city, such as small light, temperature and smiles. They are security, houses. They are Brisbane. Go out and discover.
