Teen critically injured after falling from car bonnet in Cloverdale
A late-night ride on the bonnet of a moving car left a teenager fighting for his life after a terrifying fall in Perth’s eastern suburbs.
Major crash investigators investigating incident in Cloverdale; where a 19-year-old woman suffered serious head injuries after falling from a moving vehicle.
Police said the incident took place on Arlunya Street around 22:00 on Friday.
The woman was on the hood of a white Hyundai i30, driven by another 19-year-old woman she knew, when she fell and hit the road.
The injured teenager was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by paramedics from St John WA for treatment of critical injuries.
Officers from the Major Accident Investigation Section are examining the scene and trying to piece together the circumstances that led to the fall.
