Joe Rogan set to infuriate Trump with VERY pointed theory on why president bombed Iran

Joe Rogan described Donald Trump’s military actions in Iran as preventing the release of the Epstein files.
The podcast host, who criticized the war, was speaking to Arsenio Hall, who claimed that US leaders’ efforts to ‘misdirect’ were ‘the story of American politics’.
Rogan agreed with this view, claiming that Bill Clinton ‘bombed other countries’ during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and then said that Trump did something similar.
‘Look, the Epstein Files are coming out; We are going to war with Iran. Rogan said it’s a good way to get people to stop talking about certain things.
“You’re giving them a new problem to think about,” added the host, who supports President Trump ahead of the 2024 election.
Rogan stated that they also used the potential to go after journalists who leaked information about the recently rescued US airman in order to distract attention from the Epstein saga.
“This is a sick society,” Rogan concluded.
Rogan has filled his podcast recently with discussions of the war effort in Iran, largely criticizing Trump for abandoning his goals of being a peaceful President.
Joe Rogan says Donald Trump’s military operations in Iran distracted from release of Epstein files
It was the latest in a series of criticisms of the war from the comedian, who supports Trump in 2024.
Last week, Rogan and fellow podcaster Theo Von both took issue with the war and were highly critical of it.
Rogan, 58, said towards the end: ‘I’m confused. I can’t believe we’re getting into this war. When we started bombing Iran, I said, “This can’t be right.”‘
Von, 46, responded by condemning Israel’s invasion of Lebanon, which Trump said he supported in his prime time speech the day before.
‘It’s like, just stop it. What do you want?’ a visibly disappointed Von asked.
“Well, supposedly, they’re trying to stop the terrorists,” Rogan responded, placing emphasis on the word “so-called.”
Von exclaimed: ‘But this is so crazy. You are fucking terrorists! Do you understand what I’m saying?’ The cartoon called on authorities to reconsider their stance.
Earlier, Rogan noted that the Iranian regime has a ‘unique way of protecting its missiles from being bombed.’ He said the latest attacks were aimed at destroying materials stored ‘underground’.
Von said he wasn’t thinking ‘we’re out there doing this for ourselves,’ paving the way for Rogan to agree.
He was speaking to comedian Arsenio Hall, who had previously criticized the war and described the leaders’ efforts to ‘misdirect’ as ‘the story of American politics’.
Rogan has filled his podcast recently with discussions of the war effort in Iran, largely criticizing Trump for abandoning his goals of being a peaceful President.
‘It doesn’t look like that. That doesn’t seem to be in our best interest, you know,” Rogan said.
Von wondered, ‘What does Israel have on America that we are doing these things?’
Rogan responded about a year and a half after Trump’s endorsement: ‘First of all, there are a lot of people who donated to Trump’s campaign and have significant influence over him, and they are deeply indebted to him.’
The comic also observed: ‘One of the things leaders used in the past to cover up problems in their own countries was damn war.’
Earlier this month, Rogan told journalist Michael Shellenberger that Operation Epic Rage did not match Trump’s campaign rhetoric.
“This seems crazy considering what he’s applying for,” Rogan said.
The president touted JD Vance’s ticket as ‘pro-peace’ and suggested his opponent, Kamala Harris, would send Americans to war.
‘I mean, that’s why a lot of people feel betrayed, right? ‘No more wars, stop these stupid, pointless wars,’ he continued, and then we were faced with a war where we couldn’t even clearly define why we were doing it.’ Rogan added.
Shellenberger partially defended Trump, saying he had only promised ‘no to endless wars’.
Rogan joked: ‘Listen man, this is all endless.’
He also echoed the words of the likes of Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, suggesting that the war was being waged primarily on Israel’s behalf, saying ‘clearly Israel wants it’.
“Unless we act in someone else’s interests, especially Israel’s interests, it doesn’t make sense to me,” he added.
In December, Rogan told comedian Shane Gillis that any war “would be a terrible idea.” The speech took place just before the US invasion of Venezuela.
Last month, Rogan addressed Trump’s military ambitions in Iran ‘unbelievable’. He said Trump supporters should ‘feel betrayed’ by US attacks. Trump campaigned on an ‘America First’ foreign policy.
