Still in shock, Beirut tries to heal after deadly Israeli attacks

Israel launched attacks across Lebanon following a ceasefire with Iran; It was reported that 100 Israeli air strikes were carried out in just 10 minutes and at least 303 people died in these attacks.
Despite international calls for restraint, Israel’s ongoing campaign against Iran-backed Hezbollah has not received any criticism from the United States; Iran said the attacks were a “clear violation” of the ceasefire agreement and asked the US to stop Israel’s “aggression”.
Lebanese officials say more than 1,700 people have been killed by Israel in Lebanon since early March. Israel has said its operations are aimed at weakening Hezbollah and achieving what it calls its remaining military objectives.
