Humiliating moment hero police dog hunts down repeat offender in river after pursuit through gardens – before pulling his trousers down and leaving him exposed

This is the hilarious moment a repeat offender screams in pain and is arrested with his trousers pulled down after being caught in a river by a heroic police dog.

The male, identified only as Louis in the clip, collapses on the bottom of shallow water after being caught by Met Police Constable Bowser.

He lets out a high-pitched scream and is seen nearly in tears as a police officer handcuffs him, with his trousers and trousers just above his knees, revealing him.

The fraudster was wanted by Scotland Yard officers after being linked to 26 crimes.

Body camera footage of the chase was posted on the force’s social media pages and went viral, with more than 100,000 views.

In the film, officers go to the home address of a wanted thief who is seen staggering out of his bedroom window in comedy scenes.

He races over a rooftop where he is seen climbing over the fence, with a police officer and PD Bowser in close pursuit.

The road leads the police duo into people’s backyards and eventually to a shallow river.

They jump in without hesitation and find their target after ‘minutes’ of searching.

PD Bowser lets go of his leash and runs away while his handler yells at ‘Louis’ to ‘keep still’.

The convicted criminal screams in pain as the dog clamps its jaws on his pants. He fell to the ground after the police officer said, “Take your hands off him.” [the dog]’.

She then falls backwards while screaming before being helped to her feet.

In the next clip, the man nearly bursts into tears as he is handcuffed by PD Bowser during the capture, with his trousers and trousers pulled down.

Footage was also shown of the man loitering from a minibus to steal from it, while the man abandoned his bike and stole from a minibus.

Another shows him placing a box on the ground before breaking into someone’s car parked in a driveway.

The Met said he was returned to prison and has since been convicted of a number of charges.

“He was detained again in connection with 26 crimes such as burglary and motor vehicle theft,” the police said in the post accompanying the clip.

‘When officers arrived at his home he attempted to escape through a nearby river but was quickly located and arrested by the dog unit.

‘Thanks to PD Bowser and his handlers, another prolific criminal has been taken off our streets.’
