Roberto’s Taco Shop faces boycott over CEO’s alleged Trump support

A popular San Diego-based taco chain is facing calls for a boycott after a social media user claimed the business’ CEO supports President Donald Trump.

Founded in San Diego in 1964 by Roberto and Dolores Robledo, Roberto’s Taco Shop says it offers “traditional fast Mexican fare” at more than 80 locations in California, Nevada and Texas. The current CEO of the chain is their son Reynaldo Robledo.

The TikTok user, who said he exposed “Latin MAGA businesses profiting from La Raza,” shared screenshots of posts supporting the president from his personal Facebook account bearing Robledo’s name and picture.
