Vance heckled as he chides Pope

US Vice President JD Vance sparred with Pope Leo after publicly arguing with Donald Trump about the war in Iran.

shouted a chatterbox in the crowd at the Turning Point USA event in Georgia as Vance admonished the pope to “be careful when talking about matters of theology.”

Pope Leo, America’s first pope, has repeatedly condemned the war in Iran, saying it leads to “absurd and inhumane violence.”

The pope said Monday that he was “not afraid” of the Trump administration or of him “speaking loudly about the message of the Gospel”; I believe that’s why I’m here.
