Police have vowed to respond to any protests on the M25.

Social media posts circulating earlier today claimed there would be protests on major routes across the country, urging truck drivers, farmers and others to join the action.

Protests are said to be planned for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at noon.

Kent Police previously said they “continue to monitor the situation”, while Essex Police previously said they “have plans in place to deal with any disruption”.
