A 15-year-old cancer survivor who dreamed of meeting Elon Musk left behind a handwritten list of questions for the tech billionaire before she died, and days later the man answered each question, fulfilling her final wish in a moment that has now reached millions online.

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck took to X on Thursday to share the heartbreaking story of Liv Perrotto, who passed away before she could achieve her greatest dream of meeting Musk.

According to Beck, Perrotto had the opportunity to speak with the Tesla CEO just a few days before his death, but he was too tired and asked him to call back later.

Although he died before their encounter, he left behind a handwritten list of eight questions on his nightstand, which his mother, Rebecca, shared with Beck in the hope that Musk would eventually answer them.

Beck posted photos of the teenager and his notebook, which included a fun mix of business and pop culture questions.

Perrotto asked Musk if he planned to build his own phone, expand the Tesla Restaurant, or add new games to Tesla updates.

She was also curious about her favorite anime, her trip to Japan, whether she knew virtual pop star Hatsune Miku, and whether her Grok AI virtual friend “Ani” was inspired by the fictional character “Misa” from the “Death Note” manga series.

For his final question, Perrotto asked if the Shiba Inu zero gravity indicator “Asteroid” (a plush toy used to signal the beginning of microgravity) existed. The spacecraft he designed for the Polaris Dawn space mission may become the official mascot of SpaceX.

The post garnered nearly two million views and tens of thousands of likes on the social media platform.

On Thursday afternoon, Musk complied with the teen’s request by responding directly to the post and answering all eight questions in turn.
