Want to earn £60,000, while living rent and bill-free? Apply to look after this Surrey family’s DOG

A Surrey family wants to hire someone to look after their dog and offers to cover rent and bills as an added bonus.
The family is offering the successful applicant a salary of £60,000, as well as accommodation in a cottage on the family’s private estate.
The Live-in Canine Companion and Site Assistant will work full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The job posting stated there was some flexibility depending on when the family was on site.
The role’s responsibilities include managing the dog’s routines, feeding and grooming, monitoring its health and keeping a daily diary of the pet.
As part of the role, the applicant will also be required to look after the property while the family is away and assist with some meal preparation and cleaning.
The new member will also be expected to collect home deliveries, run local errands, help maintain the property, and prepare simple dinners or snacks as needed.

The advert stated: ‘We are looking for a reliable and affectionate Living Canine Companion and Estate Assistant to join a private estate home.
‘This role centers around providing a consistent presence on the property, supporting the welfare and daily routine of the family dog and assisting the household team with light support duties on the property.
‘The successful candidate will act as guardian of the house, offering security and watchful custody of the property while the principals are at home or travelling.
‘This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys a calm, structured environment and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and well-run home.’
The family said they were looking for someone who was “warm, calm and trustworthy” and was passionate about dogs and the welfare of animals.
They also said that the candidate should be discreet, reliable and respectful of the private environment.
Unfortunately for those who still want to apply, the family has already received thousands of applications.
Jana Kocevska, chief consultant of Achieve Hospitality, announced that they no longer accept applications due to popularity.
He wrote: ‘We have received thousands of applications so we are no longer accepting applications for this position.
‘We are incredibly grateful for the interest shown and truly appreciate the time and effort each applicant puts into applying.
‘Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted regarding the next stage of the process.
‘Given the significant volume of applications we are unable to provide individual feedback to candidates who are not shortlisted for interview.
‘Thank you again for your enthusiasm and understanding.’
