Kyle Sandilands alleged rant at Jackie O revealed in court documents
Kyle Sandilands allegedly “repeatedly bullied” Jackie ‘O’ Henderson at work before their partnership broke up on live radio in February; new court documents allege she told her co-star to “pull yourself together” off air in September 2025.
Sandilands allegedly told Henderson he had carried the show single-handedly for more than a year during the exchange, which forms part of the star’s defense against allegations by the corporate parent of radio network KIIS detailed in Federal Court documents filed late on Tuesday.
Both Sandilands and Henderson are suing their former networks after having their contracts worth a total of $200 million over 10 years torn up in two stages in March.
Documents filed this week allege the verbal conflict escalated off-air, following an on-air disagreement between the pair on September 10, 2025. “Don’t bother coming back until you get your head together like a normal person. I’ve been carrying the whole show for a year… I’m left here with a limp d-ck in my hand,” Sandilands allegedly said, according to documents.
“Kyle, that’s a little rude. Like, damn, I didn’t do anything to get through this,” Henderson said after the spray from Sandilands, who repeatedly tried to bring up her lack of involvement in the program and “save the show.”
“It’s too bad it’s been difficult, this is what I’ve been dealing with you for the last 12 months. I’m not interested. I’m out of touch,” Sandilands said.
“You want to know the truth, here’s the truth. Today is the first day you’ve had to pay attention or carry something in the opener and it’s all bullshit,” Sandilands said, according to the documents.
The ARN alleges that following complaints about Sandilands in mid-September and the company attempting to follow up on them, Henderson’s manager Gemma O’Neill told KIIS station manager Derek Bargwanna that no further action was required.
The radio network defended its decision to sack both stars in a series of documents, arguing that Sandilands had soured his relationship with Henderson and breached his contract through persistent bullying and harassment of Henderson in the workplace. He said Sandilands had breached his own employment, health and safety policies, code of conduct and respect in his workplace policies. He also claims his actions towards Henderson in February breached the NSW Workplace Health and Safety Act.
Henderson’s own statement of claim, submitted earlier this month, documented two separate incidents in which he allegedly complained about Sandilands’ behavior towards him after broadcasts in August and September and berated him in a similar manner to the one on February 20 this year.
Henderson is seeking more than $82 million, claiming the station violated workplace rules by effectively retaliating against her after she exercised her rights to file a complaint against Sandilands. The company argued that its services agreement with Henderson required him to co-host a show with Sandilands, and that it breached that contract by refusing to work with Henderson.
Both Henderson and Sandilands are suing ARN for allegedly improperly tearing up their contracts, and their combined claims total more than $160 million. Both cases will be heard in dual case management hearings in the Federal Court on Friday.
