Prince Louis turns 8 today and here’s his cheekiest moments | Royal | News

Prince of Wales Louis Arthur Charles celebrates his eighth birthday today. The Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed their third child into the world on this day in 2018.

Despite being one of the youngest members of the Royal Family, the younger brother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte has certainly earned his place as one of the public’s favorite members of the Firm. Whether he’s pouting or screaming with delight, royal fans can’t seem to get enough of Louis and his cheeky antics.

From his cheeky faces at the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 to his inherently playful nature at his mother’s Christmas Carol service every December, here The Express takes a look back at 13 of Louis’ jolliest moments.

Christmas Day Cruise

The young royal appeared during the Royal Family’s Christmas Day parade in 2024. Louis, along with his two older siblings, interacted with members of the public who lined the walkway to St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. During the event, Louis caused laughter as he smashed a Terry’s Chocolate Orange onto the ground during a church service. According to The Sun, Rev. Dr. Paul Rhys Williams told Louis you have to touch it and open the package.

Royal fans gathered outside the church and listened to the ceremony through speakers and then heard her tell Prince Louis, “Let it go.”

Just like in previous years, Prince Louis attended the Princess of Wales’s Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey in 2023. This was Louis’ first time attending this annual event, although his siblings had attended before.

When the family of five went out, Louis couldn’t help but reveal his cheeky side at the opportunity. His sister, who was five at the time, was seen trying to blow out her sister’s candle as she stood next to him. Charlotte, clearly used to her brother’s cheeky antics, laughed at what he did.

Joined by his siblings, Prince Louis kicked off his school holidays in July 2023 with a visit to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. Entertaining fans, Louis cheekily gave the sign while sitting in a vehicle.

Air Tattoo is the world’s largest military air show, featuring more than 250 aircraft from 25 countries and attracting more than 200,000 spectators over the weekend. The event is organized with the support of the RAF Charitable Trust, which aims to support the RAF and encourage interest in the aviation industry among young people.
