Britain’s King Charles Arrives in US for State Visit

JOINT BASE ANDREWS: King of England III. Charles arrived in Washington on Monday on a high-stakes state visit aimed at salvaging frayed ties with Donald Trump, amid extra tight security following an attack on a gala dinner attended by the US president.

Charles and Queen Camilla arrived at Joint Base Andrews near Washington on a plane with a Union Jack on its tail before descending red-carpeted stairs to begin the four-day journey.
