Two robots greeted voters at polling booths in Gudiyatham and Vellore Assembly constituencies in Vellore district on polling day on Thursday, April 23, 2026, adding a technology-driven touch as citizens arrived to exercise their voting rights.

As voters lined up to vote at the Government Municipal Higher Secondary School in Gudiyatham town in Vellore district, they were greeted by a sari-clad robot in Tamil.
