HDK questions Congress’ moral right to hold AHINDA meet

Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H D Kumaraswamy has questioned the moral right of the Congress to hold the AHNDA communities convention, considering the events that unfolded during the by-election in Davangere South Assembly constituency.

Replying to a question during an interaction with media persons in Chitradurga on Sunday, Mr. Kumaraswamy said people from a particular community were humiliated by rejecting the party ticket in Davangere. “Given this background, with what face will the Congress hold the AHNDA communities meeting?” he wanted to know.
