Seething Karoline Leavitt blames Democrats for ‘inspiring violence’ against Trump as she slams conspiracies

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday that gun suspect Cole Tomas Allen’s manifesto is no different from popular speeches by Democrats.
Leavitt, 28, who is expected to go on maternity leave this week, returned to the White House Briefing Room podium to answer questions about the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday.
The president’s spokesman read a long list of posts in which Democratic lawmakers alluded to violence as a practical solution to solving the Donald Trump problem.
He said this rhetoric is responsible for the radicalization of individuals to attack the President.
“This political violence stems from the systematic demonization of him and his supporters by commentators, yes, elected members of the Democratic Party and even some of the media,” he said, condemning hostile language about Trump.
‘This hateful, sustained and violent rhetoric directed at President Trump every day for 11 years has helped legitimize this violence and bring us to this dark moment.’
‘When you have people in positions of power saying things like this every day for years, you are inspiring violence against people who are already mentally ill.’
Allen, 31, who lives in California, is alleged to have carried out the attack after getting on the train from his home to Washington DC. He left behind a manifesto stating that he wanted to harm Trump and members of his Cabinet.
Leavitt, 28, who is expected to give birth this week, returned to the podium on Saturday to condemn Democrats and the media for pushing violent rhetoric that she claims inspired the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.
Leavitt was seated next to First Lady Melania Trump at the dinner. The President and Vice President duo were quickly taken to a secure location backstage by Secret Service agents.
Cole Thomas Allen, 31, living in California, went from his home to Washington DC by train to carry out the attack.
According to a memo he sent to family members moments before his planned attack, Allen was trying to eliminate the President and members of his inner circle.
According to the New York Post, the note read: ‘Turning the other cheek is for when you’re under pressure. I am not someone who was raped in a detention camp. ‘I am not a fisherman who was executed without trial.’
‘I am not a blown-up schoolboy or a starving child or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. It is not Christian behavior to turn the other cheek when *someone else* is under pressure; ‘It means being a party to the crimes of the oppressor.’
Leavitt noted that the manifesto is no different from many reports in the media and many Democratic lawmakers’ public reports about Trump.
“When you read The Hitman’s Manifesto, ask yourself: How different is this near-assassin’s rhetoric from what you read on social media and hear every day in various forums?” Leavitt said. he said.
‘The answer is, to be honest with yourself, there is no difference. Much of the would-be assassin’s Manifesto is indistinguishable from the words we hear every day.’
Allen was captured Saturday after speeding through a Secret Service checkpoint armed with a shotgun, handgun and multiple knives. After shooting at law enforcement, he was immediately caught and arrested by authorities.
A Secret Service agent was hit by gunfire but was OK after the bullet hit his bulletproof vest.

Cole Thomas Allen was arrested at the Washington Hilton on Saturday
The assassin brought a pistol and several knives to dinner, along with a shotgun with a collapsible stock.
Leavitt said at the briefing that Trump called the agent immediately after returning to the White House after the incident on Saturday and thanked him.
The White House spokesperson specifically called out ABC host Jimmy Kimmel for joking last week that First Lady Melania Trump was “beaming like a widow in waiting.”
Leavitt said Democrats are determined to compare Trump to Adolf Hitler and call the President a fascist.
‘These are despicable statements that the American people have used for years, and many with mental observation have been persuaded to believe that these words are true and are then inspired to act on them.’
