EPFO to launch new portal to track inoperative accounts

Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is all set to launch E-PRAAPTI (EPF Aadhaar Based Access Portal for Tracking of Non-Performing Accounts), a dedicated digital platform that will facilitate identification, tracking, Unique Account Number (UAN) linking and activation of old EPF accounts.

A senior Labor Ministry official said E-PRAAPTI will provide a streamlined Aadhaar-based authentication mechanism that will enable members to securely access their old EPF accounts, which may not have a UAN linked to it, and initiate the process of updating member profiles, followed by seamless UAN connectivity and activation.
