Antisemitism becoming ‘normalised’, Jewish leaders say after stabbings | News

Jewish community leaders have warned the government that antisemitic behavior has become “normalised” on the streets of London after two men were stabbed in a Jewish area of north London on Wednesday (April 29).
“We are allowing an atmosphere to prevail on our London streets that makes Jews feel that such behavior is normalised,” said Louise Jacobs, deputy chair of the Jewish Leadership Council. Independent.

Ms Jacobs said the community was “grateful” the government was giving more money to build walls at synagogues and schools, but warned it was “sticking plaster” to a much bigger problem.
