US news outlet Axios reported that Donald Trump is considering further attacks on Iran to break the deadlock in peace talks.
CENTCOM chief Admiral Brad Cooper is preparing to present a plan for a ‘short and powerful’ wave of strikes against Iran, possibly targeting key infrastructure.
The aim of this will be either to break the deadlock in peace talks or to deal a fatal blow to Iran.
Trump is also presented with a plan to take over part of the Strait of Hormuz with the US military to revitalize global shipping.
This plan may require sending US troops to the Middle East.
Another plan being discussed is a possible special forces operation to secure Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile.
