BJP accuses Trinamool of misusing judicial process out of political desperation

After the Supreme Court on Saturday (May 2, 2026) refused to intervene in the Kolkata High Court’s order on deputation of Central government officials for counting votes in West Bengal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accused the Trinamool Congress of abusing the judicial process out of political desperation.
At a press conference, BJP MP and spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said a non-violent election in the state had triggered anxiety in the Trinamool.
