It was claimed that the motive behind Donald Trump’s so-called assassin’s attempt to ‘shoot the President’ was linked to the war in Iran. A bombshell intelligence report from the US Department of Homeland Security has revealed that the ongoing conflict with Iran “may have contributed” to Cole becoming suspicious of Tomas Allen’s alleged decision to launch the terrifying attack at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Allen, 31, is accused of speeding past Secret Service officers at the Washington Hilton on April 25 with a shotgun, a handgun and multiple knives before gunfire broke out outside the ballroom where Trump and senior administration officials were gathered. Four gunshots rang out during the chaos, as guests dived under tables and armed agents carried the President to safety. Federal prosecutors allege Allen attempted to assassinate Trump and senior members of his administration after traveling across the country with guns and ammunition. The suspect is now charged with attempted assassination of the President, assault with a deadly weapon on a federal officer, use of a firearm during a violent crime, and illegally transporting firearms across state lines.

According to prosecutors, Allen fired directly at a Secret Service agent guarding the security checkpoint. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro said evidence shows the officer was struck by a shotgun pellet in his bulletproof vest during the attack.

Investigators are also examining a chilling 1,000-word manifesto that Allen allegedly wrote shortly before the shooting.

The document reportedly expressed extreme hatred towards Trump and outlined plans to kill the President and members of his Cabinet.

The manifesto claims that FBI Director Kash Patel, as well as guests and police officers, should be spared as long as they do not interfere with Allen’s plans.

Court filings state that Allen “disagrees” with Trump’s policies and “wants to fight against government policies and decisions that he finds morally objectionable.”

The FBI is currently examining Allen’s online activities, including posts on the liberal-leaning social media platform Bluesky, where he allegedly shared anti-Trump rhetoric in the weeks before the attack.

Posts linked to the suspect criticized the Trump administration, Elon Musk and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

After Trump reportedly called for the destruction of Iranian civilization earlier this year, Allen allegedly rebroadcast calls calling for the President’s impeachment.

After Trump reportedly called for the destruction of Iranian civilization earlier this year, Allen allegedly rebroadcast calls calling for the President’s impeachment. In another post purportedly from 2024, Allen referred to Trump as “the devil.”

The case took another extraordinary turn earlier this week when federal judge Zia Faruqui apologized to Allen in court for his prison conditions.

Allen has reportedly been kept under strict suicide watch restrictions since being taken into federal custody following the attack.

Judge Faruqui criticized prison officials after hearing allegations that Allen was placed on a five-point restraint despite having no previous criminal history.

He told the courtroom: “I need to at least apologize to him. We have to make sure he is taken care of. Mr. Allen, I’m sorry things didn’t turn out the way they should have.”

The judge added: “For me, it is deeply disturbing that a person with no criminal history is being subjected to a five-point restriction.

“It’s troubling. I’ve never heard of a defendant being placed in five-point handcuffs or a secure cell on January 6th. If the most punitive sanction is the only way to keep him safe, that’s a problem.”

Judge Faruqui ordered officials at the D.C. jail to provide an update on Allen’s prison conditions as his attorneys seek to remove him from suicide watch restriction.
