Air Arabia announces new low-cost airline, plans a 45-aircraft fleet by 2030. Check details

Air Arabia, a United Arab Emirates (UAE) -based airline, said on Sunday, July 20, 2025, according to an official social media mission, he received approval from Saudi Arabia to establish a new low -cost carrier.

The company also announced that the new low -cost carrier will be present in Dammam, a large city in the eastern part of Saudi Arabia.

A low -cost carrier is a peeled version of a traditional full service airline. Local news portal Gulf News Air reported that Arabia plans to start a fleet of 45 anti -aircraft by 2030.

The report also stated that the Saudi Civil Aviation General Authority stated that the UAE -based carrier is among the alliance of the other three other companies that won the operating offer of the new low -cost airline.

Media reports show that the new low -cost carrier will operate King Fahd International Airport and international flights in Saudi Arabia’s damam. The flight operator aims to reach 24 domestic routes and 57 international routes and 10 million passengers every year.

The Local News Portal also reported that the launch of the low -cost airline is expected to create more than 2,400 direct business opportunities and improve the quality of service in the Saudi Arabia aviation market.
