JSP leaders instructed to gear up for municipal elections

A team comprising Jana Sena Party MPs Konatala Ramakrishna, Panchakarla Ramesh Babu and Ch. Vamsi Krishna Yadav is touring North Andhra districts to meet party leaders and cadres and instruct them to start working for the upcoming municipal elections.
The team completed the first leg of the tour in Vizianagaram on Saturday and will hold a meeting in Srikakulam on Monday. The team asked local leaders to convey their grievances regarding changes in the jurisdiction of departments of relevant civic institutions. Currently, Vizianagaram has 50 divisions and the number is expected to increase to 62.
JSP senior leader Avanapu Vikram presented a report to the visiting team on the opportunities available to the party in the next local elections. He reportedly requested that the team hold a coordination meeting with alliance partners TDP and BJP in all regions. He said this would benefit all alliance parties in the upcoming elections.
JSP senior leader Adada Mohana Rao said the party has a good network in Parvatipuram and other parts of Parvatipuram-Manyam district.
JSP Srikakulam district president Pisini Chandra Mohan expressed confidence that the party’s local leaders will gain more confidence with the visit of senior leaders to Srikakulam on Monday. He said that the party will prove its strength when elections are held in Srikakulam district.
