CBSE Class 12 Results Spark Citywide Celebrations

Hyderabad: With the CBSE Class 12 results declared on Wednesday, celebrations were witnessed as various schools in the city recorded outstanding performances; many students scored above 90 percent while balancing competitive exam preparations, sports and cultural activities.

At Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, Raaga Pranavi, principal of the school, stood first overall in the Commerce stream with 96 percent. Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Pranavi said that she is now aiming to study Economics and Political Science and is preparing for CUET Delhi. “Being a school principal, juggling extracurricular activities, and pursuing classical dance was challenging, but I stayed consistent every day and made time for my studies,” she said.

Tarunprakash, who scored 92.4 per cent, said, “I was not one of those people who studied for eight or ten hours a day. But I made sure that I studied consistently even on days when I did not want to study.”

Fellow student Sukriti, who scored 94 per cent, said balancing school and JEE coaching was “really difficult” but the support from teachers and parents helped. “They would focus on the concepts I missed,” the student said. After scoring 97 percent in JEE Main and moving on to JEE Advanced, he aims to work in the field of Artificial Intelligence in the space and technology sector in the future.

“It is extremely gratifying to see our students succeed with such dedication and determination,” said HPSR principal Dr Narsimha Reddy.

An unaided school run by a foundation achieved a 100 per cent pass result. N. Akshara, who secured 90.6 percent in BiPC stream, said that she is currently preparing for the NEET exam and aspires to become a surgeon. “Initially, it was difficult to manage both NEET preparation and general exams in Class 11, but I managed to get used to it later,” he said.

Similarly, students of a school with network in Madhapur, Ananya Nalamati scored 95.2 percent, Nehara Sandeep Nair 94.4, Saanvi Jhaveri 91.6 and M. Narendra Reddy scored 90.8 percent. “I wanted to study law and since I participated in many debates and worked on social issues, I decided to do so and have already got admitted to a law college in Mumbai,” added V. Indrani, the other top scorer from the school.

M. Saharsh Goenka from a reputed government school in Jubilee Hills secured 95.6 percent in MPC stream while Shresta secured 92.4 percent in Commerce, Principal Aruna Sree said.

Prisha Pandey from an international school secured the highest percentage in the school with 90.4 percent while Khushi Vadsaria topped the Commerce rankings with 92.4 percent.
