Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding photo ‘deliberately’ removed | Royal | News

A royal insider has said that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding photograph, once on display at the King’s Highgrove home, may have been moved “deliberately”. Just a few weeks ago, eagle-eyed royal fans noticed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding photo, which had previously sat proudly on a small wooden table at Highgrove, had been moved.
This was noticed when royal photographer Chris Jackson, who was hosting an event at the estate, took a photo of the table where the wedding photo once stood. The photo showed that the only two photos currently displayed on the table were of Prince Harry shoulder-to-shoulder with his brother, Prince William, and his father, King Charles, and Prince Louis, one of King Charles’ grandsons.
The wedding photo was nowhere to be seen, although it was found on the table in 2024, along with a photo of King Charles and Queen Camilla on their coronation day. Meanwhile, the photograph of the King with his two sons was also on display.
While it’s possible the wedding photo was moved elsewhere along with the coronation photo, a former Royal Household employee said the removal of the photo from this area may have been intentional.
This is because staff, even if they are senior staff, are not allowed to move items without the King’s permission.
This was revealed by Grant Harrold, who served as royal butler to King Charles from 2004 to 2011.
This was before King Charles became monarch.
He later said it was probably a “deliberate” move.
It is unclear why the photo was moved or where it was moved.
However, this is not the only photo that has been moved from the table, as the coronation photo also seems to have been moved to another point.
