Beach day turns bloody as 3 are stabbed while hundreds of teens pack sand

Three people were stabbed at a Rhode Island beach on Tuesday as hundreds of teenagers swarmed the area, forcing beachgoers to flee.

The victims were found at Narragansett Town Beach after police officers responded to the crowded scene following reports of violence. Narragansett Police said three unidentified people suffered minor stab wounds and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No suspects have been identified in connection with the stabbings and no arrests have been made.

However, officials stated that other disturbances also occurred as hundreds of people on the beach tried to leave at the same time. Many law enforcement officers responded to the scene.

Two unidentified adults were arrested and charged with simple assault, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice. Police noted that these arrests did not appear to be connected to the stabbings.

The incident occurred amid a wave of youth violence across the country. Over the weekend, teenagers in Washington, D.C. were involved in a chaotic fight at a Chipotle restaurant. While innocent people around gathered in a corner of the facility for safety, about eight young people were seen punching each other and throwing restaurant furniture.

All of the suspects were dressed in black from head to toe, and some of the suspects wore hoods and masks.
