Some of Taylor Swift’s guests were less than thrilled with one of the requests made in her wedding invitation.

The 36-year-old Opalite singer had previously informed friends that her wedding to Travis Kelce would take place on July 3 in New York City at a venue to be named later.

And now the Daily Mail has learned that some of the artist’s guests have decided not to book appointments for the big event.

‘My invitation did not allow me to bring a plus one,’ said a guest who did not want to give his name.

‘So what am I supposed to do? Will you go alone? This is very strange. I don’t think I’ll attend because I don’t want to go alone and I’m not sure I’ll know too many people there. So I’m sorry, I’m not friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid!’

The source added that some guests may bring a guest with them, so this wouldn’t be entirely fair.

‘I know Selena Gomez is bringing her husband Benny Blanco, so he has a plus one, but since I’m a single woman, I’m not allowed to have a plus one. I get it, the place can probably accommodate this many people but it’s not the best feeling.’

Additionally, a venue for high-profile weddings has not yet been determined. Guests will learn where the wedding will be held on the morning of July 3.

‘I understand that too, he doesn’t want everyone to know where he’s getting married until the last minute for security reasons,’ the source said.

‘It’s a big guessing game now, everyone is wondering where it will happen. “Probably a huge hotel like the Waldorf Astoria with incredible security and access,” the friend added.

Waldorf Astoria New York is located on Park Avenue in midtown Manhattan.

This is where John F Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy began their honeymoon before heading to Mexico in 1953. The hotel is also where Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III announced their engagement in 1956.

The guest added that he “loves” his friend Swift and wishes her “the best,” and that he doesn’t want to seem like a “big complainer” because he “understands.”

The Daily Mail has reached out to Swift’s rep for comment.

The wedding will be full of well-known names.

The guest list is believed to include Gomez, the Hadid sisters, Gigi’s boyfriend Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Lena Dunham and Zoe Kravitz.

Kelce’s football coach, Andy Reid, 68, has already confirmed the couple will attend their wedding. Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce, teammate Patrick Mahomes and Hollywood actor Miles Teller are also expected to be there.
