Arsenal win Premier League: Is now the start of a period of dominance for Gunners

Arteta has already said he wants to “parade with two big trophies” as Arsenal look to win the Champions League for the first time in their history.
Arsenal supported Arteta last summer by spending around £250 million to improve the quality and depth of their squad, bringing in players classed as ‘win now’ transfers such as Viktor Gyokeres and Martin Zubimendi.
Arteta wants to create a sustainable legacy of success at Arsenal and once the Champions League final is over, the focus will be on tying him down to a new contract.
Initial talks have taken place and will accelerate as all parties work to arrange the new contract before next season.
Arsenal will reinvest in the transfer market this summer, with co-chairman Josh Kroenke saying he would back Arteta.
“If anyone deserves it, it’s this group.” Kroenke told Sky Sports after Arsenal’s trophy was lifted:
“[We are invested] emotional, financial, everything. This club means the world to us.
“I think it took some people a few years to realize what it really meant, but we have great people, players and coaches, we have to continue to provide the resources to do magical things like they did this season.
Arsenal’s football leadership, with Josh Kroenke, CEO Richard Garlick, director of football operations James King and sporting director Andrea Berta, looking to recruit Arteta into a squad of midfielders, left wingers and forwards. However, some money will also need to be recouped after last year’s huge expenses.
With success secured, level of impact and transformation complete, it may be time for Arteta to turn Arsenal into serial winners.
