West Bengal to attend NITI Aayog meet after years of Centre-State tension

Kolkata: West Bengal government will attend the NITI Aayog meeting to be held on June 11. People in the know said that during a meeting with the senior management, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari gave instructions to various departments to prepare for the NITI Ayog meeting. Mamata Banerjee never attended the Niti Ayog meeting. Adhikari gave these instructions to various departments at a high-level meeting today. A directive has been issued to submit draft proposals by June 5.

The Prime Minister instructed the state government to continue working for 100 days, now known as GRAM. “100-day work will begin in all districts except South 24 Parganas and Murshidabad district,” Adhikari said during the meeting of state ministers.
