Kalaburagi tops in disposal of applications received at Atalji Janasnehi Kendras

Kalaburagi district has once again secured the top spot in Karnataka for disposal of applications received through Atalji Janasnehi Kendras, achieving a disposal rate of 97.94% in May 2026.
Kalaburagi emerged as the best-performing district in the State in the provision of income-related civic services, disposing of 38,551 applications out of 39,363 applications received during the month, within the stipulated time frame, according to official data released here on Wednesday.
Nadakacheri centers provide 43 services of the Revenue Department and Kalaburagi achieved the highest disposal performance by ensuring timely processing of applications.
The region’s divestment index was recorded at 9.48; This reflects its efficiency in public service delivery and administrative responsiveness.
This is the third time Kalaburagi has moved up the State rankings in less than a year. The region had previously ranked first in July and December 2025, strengthening its reputation for efficient management and fast service to citizens.
Taluk-wise figures show Afzalpur 3,516 out of 3,572 applications received, Aland 4,116 out of 4,203 applications, Chincholi 3,326 applications, Chittapur 3,324 3,355, Jewargi 2,009 2,078, Kalaburagi taluk It shows that he destroyed 10,212 of them. 10,557, Kalagi 2,056/2,096, Kamalapur 2,709/2,754, Sedam 3,750/3,806, Shahabad 1,761/1,781 and Yadrami 1,801 applications 1,835.
Deputy Commissioner Ikram Shariff attributed the success to the dedication and efficiency of Nadakacheri and Atalji Janasnehi Kendra staff.
He congratulated the officials and staff involved and urged them to maintain the same level of performance in the future while continuing to promptly respond to public complaints and service requests.
The statewide rankings also show a strong performance by districts in the Kalyana Karnataka region.
While Kalaburagi ranks first, Vijayanagara is third with a disposal index of 8.71, Ballari is fourth with 8.29 and Raichur is seventh with 6.52; This shows that four counties in the region are among the state’s top 10 performers in public service delivery.
