Bigfoot eyewitness Todd Neiss describes mysterious monster sightings in Ohio
Todd Neiss, founder of the American Primate Conservancy, shares his belief in Bigfoot after seeing it in Ohio. Neiss talks about eerie howls and huge footprints reported by locals, and explains that his own encounter during a military exercise in 1993 led him to believe this. He describes the creatures as very large and athletic.
The only place where people claim to have seen Bigfoot and not get a single photo of the creature is in the woods, not in the middle of nowhere. As you are about to go in, sightings can also take place near a lighthouse on the beach at dusk.
This time of day makes the lack of evidence collected much more understandable. Visibility was not good and two witnesses and a dog saw a large silhouette of what was described as a “dark figure” with the build of a “very large lumberjack with no neck”.

A Doberman named “Snoop Dog” accompanied the two ladies on the sightseeing trip in May. The dog was spooked when they visited nearby Barb Beach the day before it was spotted at the Whitefish Lighthouse.

When they returned to Barb’s Beach on the morning of their encounter, May 19, “the dog wanted to get back in the car.” Diane told her sister that there must be a bear or wolf in the area because the dog wasn’t easily scared.
Later that night, the two sisters saw a dark, upright figure on the beach at Whitefish Lighthouse, near a large pile of driftwood on the shore. They could see the figure bending over when a flashlight they used was pointed at it.

The Doberman alerted them to the presence of something in the woodpile and began pulling the women toward the lighthouse. That’s when they “ran and got the hell out of there.”
This is a general area with many other reported sightings, and according to the BFRO investigator, a search and rescue operation was being conducted not far from the area where the sisters said they saw possible Bigfoot.

There was a lot of police activity, including the use of helicopters and dog teams, in a roughly four-mile area of the woods that “may have flushed a sasquatch out of there.”
