UK weather maps show exact date 30C heat surge hits in June – 14 counties above 25C | Weather | News

Temperatures will rise once again in the coming weeks as parts of the UK reach 30C. Netweather’s new maps have revealed that sunny weather will return to the country on June 23, less than two weeks later.
An impressive 14 counties, from Lincolnshire in the Midlands to Hampshire in the south, are expected to see temperatures above 25C. London is expected to be the hottest part of the UK, with temperatures expected to reach 30°C by 6pm. Other hot areas include East Sussex, Kent and Cambridgeshire.
Separately, the Met Office’s forecast for June 16-25 reads: “A volatile period is likely through the middle of next week, with outbreaks of rain focused on the north and north-west, some of which may extend into the south and south-east at times.”
“Towards next weekend, high pressure will likely become more dominant as conditions become drier and more settled, and it will likely be too hot for many, especially in the south.”
