Meghan Markle dubbed a ‘parody of herself’ as fans issue brutal verdict | Royal | News

Meghan’s new offering was a new, now sold-out matcha set from Clevr Blends, featuring As Ever’s strawberry cream and floral sprinkles. The price was £47 ($56). Clevr Blends is a vegan coffee brand that makes coffees full of probiotics, superfoods, and adaptogens. Meghan, an advisor and investor in the brand, made a cameo appearance in the company’s 2023 advertising campaign.
The company was founded in 2018 by Hannah Mendoza and Roger Coppola.
However, fans were not impressed that Meghan did not launch a new product and instead launched a bundle containing products already available for purchase, and they accused the Duchess of trying to sell off remaining inventory.
One user attacked X: “He’s like a parody of himself.” The second added: “Boo! I don’t want any of this, especially together.”
A third person said: “Looks like she’s throwing everything out to get rid of the excess product she’s accumulated.”
A fourth user commented: “Is that so? It’s beyond disgraceful that he does commercial podcasts and interviews.”
A fifth added: “Yes, you made the point! It’s obvious. If a brand hasn’t yet built trust, proven its product market fit, or gained organic demand, collaborations and partnerships indicate it needs to borrow credibility and/or move its inventory.”
Announcing their latest collaboration on social media, Meghan said on her Instagram story: “I have proudly supported Hannah and @clevrblends for many years.
“I’m so excited about this new collaboration with one of my favorite girls and two of my favorite brands.”
On Wednesday evening, Clevrblends announced that the product was out of stock.
