Four people were taken to hospital after a bare-chested man was seen wandering the streets of Edinburgh with a large gun.
A person who appeared to be the same man was filmed hitting the locked door of a pizzeria in Leith Walk as people ran down the street on Friday evening.
The staff at the pizzeria closed the electronic shutters because he repeatedly hit the door windows with a gun before going out.
No statement has been made yet about the condition of the 4 injured people. Police said they made an arrest and there was no further risk to the public.
Investigations continue.
Various incident clips have been posted on social media showing the same bare-chested man causing mayhem in various locations.
A man was caught on security cameras at a gas station standing next to a black vehicle with a shattered windshield.
He then enters the gas station kiosk and walks around several times before pushing several shelves and scattering items on the floor.
Members of the public are seen running away from a man who approaches the Origano pizzeria in Leith Walk.
A shirtless man with a gun also approaches a car stopped at a nearby intersection.
Another video shows a tight police presence and cordon around the Your Move estate agency, where paramedics are providing medical attention to a clothed man lying on the ground with his arm in a sling.
In another video, a police officer is seen holding a shirtless man to the ground, and then swearing that the man was “protecting the country.”
