“After the pandemic, I told myself that when I died, I would at least know that I represented something… even if the industry didn’t technically think I was worthy,” Begley said.

KPRC News Director Ana Lastra confirmed Begley’s departure from the Houston Chronicle and wished him well, but said the station would not further discuss the circumstances surrounding his departure.
