Woman arrested on suspicion of child sex offences at school | UK | News

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of child sex offenses after police were called to a school in Greater Manchester. The suspect was detained at St Gabriel’s RC High School in Bury on suspicion of having sexual communication with a child and encouraging the child to commit a sexual offence.

Greater Manchester Police said officers were called to the school following reports of safety concerns. The woman was released on bail pending further investigation.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “Officers received reports of concerns being maintained at St Gabriel’s RC High School. “A woman was arrested on suspicion of having sexual intercourse with a child and encouraging a child to commit a sexual offence.

“The woman is currently on bail pending further investigation. Investigations are ongoing.”
