Tuticorin: Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the recent FTA between India and Britain on Saturday as “history” and said that the agreement showed the trust of the world to the country. Maldives landed here immediately after completing the official tour.

‘Depends on the growth of TN’
“Infrastructure and energy are the backbone of the development of any state, which promises to an advanced India and Tamil Nadu, our focus on infrastructure and energy in the last 11 years shows our commitment to the growth of TN.” In the country, the government built the Atal Sethu, Sonmarg Tunnel, Bogibeel Bridge in different parts of the country, which created thousands of business opportunities. Regarding the railways, he said that this is the life line of industrial growth. The projects it opened on Saturday are related to the airport, highways, railways, harbor and power in Tamil Nadu.

Projects initiated by PM Modi
Opened projects include a new state -of -the -art Tuticorin Airport Terminal building developed at an estimated cost of approximately 450 RS. Regarding the railway projects, the 90 km Madurai-Bindaayakkanur line was assigned to double the RS 650 Crore, worth doubing the Nagercoil Town-Kanniyakumari section.
