Pitbull breaks Guinness World Record as over 22,141 concert-goers wear bald caps at BST concert as he rejoices: ‘We did it baldies!’

Pitbull officially broke the Guinness World Record by commandeering the largest gathering of people wearing bald hats at a BST concert.
During his headline performance on Friday night, 22,141 fans donned the iconic hats and aviator sunglasses.
The 45-year-old artist, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, could not believe this incident while thanking his ‘balds’ for making this happen.
BBC Radio 1’s Greg James also touted his success while wearing a bald cap.
Pitbull said: ‘Wow, we did that bald! I tell you what, I’m speechless at this point.
‘But I can tell you this, I always tell the bald guys at shows, ‘When you put bald hats on them, you know you’re about to have the time of your life!’
‘And now you are officially in the Guinness Book of Records. Dale! [Let’s go]’

In order to break the record, fans had to follow very strict rules.
The first was to securely wear the headpiece by tucking the hair under the front and top.
They also had to stand in a specific area and keep the hat on for one minute.
Despite Pitbull’s success, this particular Guinness World Record was a first, so there was no previous benchmark to beat.
Pitbull’s biggest hits include Don’t Stop the Party, Ball of Fire, Lumber and Gasoline.
He has sold more than 25 million studio albums and more than 100 million singles worldwide.
He was also ranked as the 45th Top Artist of the 2010s and the 24th Top Latin Artist of the 2010s by Billboard.

Lewis Capaldi will bring the annual festival to a close by performing two nights in a row in Hyde Park on Saturday and Sunday.
