‘Nothing to suggest’ Ann Widdecombe death politically motivated, say police | UK news

Detectives investigating Ann Widdecombe’s death said there was “nothing to suggest the incident was politically motivated”.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of the former Conservative MP at an address in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with Widdecombe’s death.
