Donald Trump makes huge decision over new import tariff on UK goods | Politics | News

Donald Trump will continue to impose a new 10% import duty on UK goods after limited-time tariffs imposed by the president in response to the Supreme Court defeat expire on Friday, a US trade representative said.
While the US claims they have failed to stop forced labor, the US president has imposed new tariffs on 60 trading partners.
Mandates range from 10% to 12.5% and target key economic partners including the UK, EU, Canada, Japan and India.
This marks the latest development in the trade war that began when Trump returned to office for a second term.
Last year, the Supreme Court ruled that global tariffs were illegal and blocked the president from enforcing them.
