Katrina Kaif Receives Offer From Prabhas’ Spirit: Reports

Fresh speculations are doing the rounds that Bollywood star Katrina Kaif might make a special appearance in Prabhas’ much-awaited action drama Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

It was earlier reported that actress Deepika Padukone has been signed as the female lead alongside Prabhas. While Kalki shared screen space with the 2898 AD star, many felt that the film offered limited scenes featuring the duo together. Deepika was later announced to be a part of Spirit, but eventually exited the project.

Industry buzz suggests that Katrina Kaif is being considered to feature in a pivotal role in the film. Rumor has it that Sandeep Reddy Vanga has envisioned a brief but impactful role for the actor; It’s a role that could dramatically change the course of the narrative at a crucial point.

Although the role is said to have limited screen time, insiders claim that this could be one of the biggest surprises of the film if the reports turn out to be true.

Katrina, who has reduced her film commitments considerably after marrying actor Vicky Kaushal, has been away from the big screen for nearly two years. His recent work has not performed as expected and he has largely stayed away from signing new projects.

If reports come true, Spirit will mark Katrina’s return to Telugu cinema after nearly two decades. She was last seen in Telugu films like Malliswari opposite Venkatesh and Allari Pidugu starring Nandamuri Balakrishna.
