KC Venugopal filed adjournment plea in Lok Sabha over allegations of financial irregularities in Ayodhya Ram Mandir
Congress General Secretary and Member of Parliament KC Venugopal on Wednesday filed an adjournment notice in the Lok Sabha, seeking a debate on what he called “massive financial fraud and misappropriation” of public donations at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Mr Venugopal demanded a suspension of normal business to address the alleged “disrespect” and called for a high-level independent inquiry overseen by a Supreme Court judge.
Mr. Venugopal stated in the notification: “There is an urgent need to discuss the shocking revelations of massive financial fraud, theft and misappropriation of public donations at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
